Findorff Wins AGC Of Wisconsin Safety Award

J.H. Findorff & Son, Madison, WI, recently received the Safety Excellence Award for 2008 from The Associated General Contractors of Wisconsin.

Findorff fulfilled the criteria of having at least 4,000 hours worked with no fatalities and a low rate of lost-time incidents.

Findorff Safety Director Sonny Femal joined 16 employees in receiving the award at the AGC of Wisconsin's annual Construction Safety and Education Day.

Said Femal, "I was honored to receive this award on behalf of everyone at Findorff. We all share in this success. Excellence in safety is a core value that we live by every day."

Femal also said that the best reward is having everyone go home to their families uninjured at the end of the day.

Findorff currently employs an average of 600 construction professionals and tradespeople, and completes more than $300 million in construction annually.
