FAA Orders Contractor to Lower Crane Height

October 26, 2015

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) ordered that three cranes be lowered at a $500 million courthouse project under construction in San Diego, reports The San Diego Union-Tribune

Contractor Brewer Crane and Rigging complied with FAA regulation but noted the 511-foot limit could delay the project. The company wants to be able to raise the cranes more than 600 feet above sea level.
