The September EquipmentWatch INDEX includes a quick snapshot of price, volume and age trends observed during July 2015. Over the past month, here are a few highlights of what we've observed:

September 2015 in Review

  • Construction Equipment: For the first time since 2012, the average level of market activity in the month of September nationwide fell slightly in comparison to August levels.
  • Lift Trucks: Lift Truck prices decreased across much of the Southern, Central, and Western regions of the United States, but were buoyed in September by price growth in the Mountain and Northeast regions.
  • Agriculture: Prices in the agricultural equipment industry for September showed an overall increase across the nation as overall volume decreased.
  • Commercial Trucks: Increases in age across the commercial truck industry during September impacted the entire country with decreases throughout the majority of the US.
