Values for used equipment across the major rental categories are down 0.4 percent in August, compared to July, but sill up 1.1 percent over the past six months. Although most categories were negative, boom lifts posted slight increases. Wheel loaders posted a sixth consecutive monthly value increase, for a total 11.

Values for used equipment across the major rental categories are down 0.4 percent in August, compared to July, but sill up 1.1 percent over the past six months. Although most categories were negative, boom lifts posted slight increases. Wheel loaders posted a sixth consecutive monthly value increase, for a total 11.1 percent gain over February values.

Skid-steers continue to drop from a peak of 60.6 percent in April, falling 4.5 percent from February. Average selling age is 70 months.
