Doosan Infracore America’s Engine Division has announced its receipt of full EPA and California Air Resources Board (CARB) certification for their clean, natural gas engines in the U.S. The North American engine division, headquartered in Suwanee, GA, is now fully certified to sell engines across the United States.

"We are proud that the Doosan engines received this valuable certification," said Kwangsup Hwang, general manager, north american engine division. "Our clean engines are fuel efficient and consistently meet and exceed emission standards, and this certification will provide the opportunity for customers to enjoy the benefits of a clean, natural gas Doosan engine."

The lean burn engine technology has been deployed to provide efficient, reliable, and low emission performance for many years. As emission regulations have become more stringent, conventional fuel lean burn technologies have reached their limits. Doosan engines have been installed in over 1200 different applications and offer engine support for automotive, truck and bus, marine including yachts, naval guard ships and patrol boats, generators, and industrial engines for mobile construction equipment and large special application vehicles.
