Now available on the company's ISX and ISM engines, Load-Based Speed Control (LBSC) helps engines operate at low speeds to save fuel. LBSC limits usable engine speed during low and intermediate power requirements. When high power is required, it provides the driver with an extended operating range. When climbing grades, the driver can operate the engine up to 2,000 rpm and make downshifts at higher rpm for maximum performance. LBSC also minimizes vehicle noise.
