CumminsNext generation ISC and ISL engines for medium-duty trucks feature multi-injection capability, reduced noise and emissions, and improved cold starting. Multiple-injection events spread out combustion, which reduces engine noise. The common-rail design maintains high injection pressures regardless of engine rpm. The turbocharger has only one moving part and constantly adjusts airflow based on engine load, altitude and temperature. Engines come with a QuickServe Guarantee, which means that qualifying in-shop repairs will be completed the same day or the company will offer a $75 credit for future Cummins parts and service.
