Crane Collapses at Construction Site, No Serious Injuries Reported

A construction crane was loading a pallet of wood when it tipped over and fell onto an excavator, fence and portable toilet, reports Lansing State Journal.

No one was seriously injured, but one crew member was shaken up by the accident and taken to the hospital. 

The crane’s internal load balancers appeared to have quite working according to Colin Cronin, vice president of Lansing Township-based DTN Management, which is developing the project.

Cronin also told the Journal that the crane appeared undamaged, but after discovered two pieces of the boom are bent and need to be replaced.
