Metro Councilwoman Erica Gilmore aims to advance construction legislation with added restrictionsGilmore's bill would eliminate all construction activity, louder than a certain decibel level, between 9 p.m. and 7 a.m. Developers and construction executives argue her proposal will slow Nashville's growth and that overnight work is crucial to minimize traffic disruptions, and to beat the summer heat when doing large concrete pours.
