Construction Worker Dies After 60-Foot Fall

A 25-year-old construction worker died after falling 60 feet at a jobsite in downtown Madison, Wis.

A 25-year-old construction worker died after falling 60 feet at a jobsite in downtown Madison, Wis., reports WMTV.

According to a release from the Department of Labor, the carpenter was installing wood trusses on a new apartment building when he fell five stories.

The worker was employed as carpenter for the past three years for McGann Construction, WMTV reported.

The Madison’s OSHA office says it's investigating to determine whether any violations of safety regulations contributed to the accident.
