The U.S. Department of Commerce reported a 0.2 percent increase in construction spending in September, mostly thanks to residential sector increases.

The U.S. Department of Commerce reported a 0.2 percent increase in construction spending in September, mostly thanks to residential sector increases. The overall monthly growth—the second in as many months—came despite reduced spending for roads, public schools and government offices.
