Construction spending rose 1.2% in November, yet fewer new projects, federal construction program cuts, delayed payments for accounts receivable, and rising material costs are still major factors that impede recovery for the industry.

Forbes reports there are a number of items to be concerned about, including whether or not November's favorable single-family housing numbers are sustainable.
