The Commerce Department predicts that nuclear energy will develop into a $740 billion global market in the next 10 years, creating many thousands of construction jobs, according to the Nuclear Energy Institute.

The Commerce Department predicts that nuclear energy will develop into a $740 billion global market in the next 10 years, creating many thousands of construction jobs, according to the Nuclear Energy Institute.

The Vogtle reactors project in Georgia alone will create up to 5,000 construction jobs and there are plans under way for new reactors in other southern states, The Huffington Post says.
