Construction Executives Plead Guilty to $19 Million Contract Scheme

Three Pennsylvania construction executives pleaded guilty in federal court to one count each of conspiracy to commit bank fraud, reports The Washington Times.

Federal prosecutors say the three used Karen Construction, to get hundreds of contracts from the U.S. and Pennsylvania departments of transportation under the federal Disadvantaged Business Enterprise program between 1995 and 2011.
