CNH Industrial Donates to Midwest Tornado Relief

December 3, 2013

CNH Industrial has contributed monetary and equipment donations to relief efforts in response to a series of tornadoes that struck the Midwest on Nov. 17, 2013. The storms occurred in Illinois, Michigan and Indiana.

The company initially donated $50,000 to the American Red Cross, while also launching a nationwide employee fundraising campaign. The company will match employee contributions dollar-for-dollar through Dec. 6.

A CNH Industrial parts and service depot in Lebanon, Ind., sustained damage after being struck by an F3 tornado. The community surrounding the Goodfield, Ill., R&D center was affected, while the company’s facility remained unharmed.

The Case Construction brand has been working with local dealers to deploy equipment, including an SV300 skid steer loader and a 580N tractor loader backhoe, to clean up debris in the Goodfield area. A shipment of general relief supplies was also sent to support the communities in the area.
