Clinton Road Reconstruction Project

Clinton, IA – Reconstruction of U.S. 30/U.S. 67 has begun in Clinton, according to the Iowa Department of Transportation's Davenport construction office. The project extends from just east of 25th Place to South 4th Street.

During the first phase of the project, Liberty Avenue will be reconstructed with traffic maintained on Comanche Avenue. When that phase is complete, Comanche Avenue will be reconstructed with traffic shifted to Liberty Avenue. The $15.4-million project is a joint venture between McCarthy Improvement and Foley Construction of Davenport. Construction is slated for completion in June 2009.
