Clark Construction Achieves Safety Milestone

Clark Construction Company has achieved another safety milestone, announcing it has surpassed six consecutive years and 1.75 million hours without lost time due to injury. The six-year, 1.75-million-hour landmark is the latest in a series of notable safety accomplishments Clark Construction has achieved in recent years.

"When one considers that construction is one of the most hazardous industries in the country, achieving six years and 1.75 million hours without lost time due to injury is an amazing accomplishment," said Clark Construction Chief Executive Officer Charles Clark. "I am proud of our entire team for their continued commitment to a safe work environment and our overall safety program."

Clark Construction has been widely recognized by government and industry for its safety accomplishments, receiving several major awards in recent years, including:

  • CET Gold Award from the Michigan Occupational Safety and Health Administration (MIOSHA) for outstanding accomplishments in safety;
  • The Safety Excellence Award from the Michigan Chapter of Associated General Contractors (AGC); and
  • The Outstanding Safety Performance Award from the Accident Fund Insurance Company of America.
