Designed for finish grading, the D6K features a new hydrostatic drive train, durable SystemOne undercarriage, and seat-mounted electro-hydraulic controls ready for easy installation of the AccuGrade grade-control system. Cat says the hydrostatic drive train provides independent power and control of each track for precise maneuvering, quick acceleration, and on-the-go direction changes. Its undercarriage has an oscillating track roller frame, which is said to keep more of the track on the ground in uneven terrain. It is powered by a 125-flywheel-horsepower Cat C6.6 engine, which is 5 dB(A) quieter. Estimated list price: $200,000.
