Caterpillar Center to Employ Hundreds in Ohio

Caterpillar Logistics’ new $69 million distribution center in Clayton, Ohio, has hired about 115 people so far, and up to 500 more jobs could be added in the next year or so depending on economic conditions, says Jason Murphy, the center’s human resources manager.

Last week, the center started its second shift. By May 2012, the center could be a 24/7 operation, depending on business conditions, Murphy said.
