The C-Series Compact Track Loaders from Caterpillar feature an innovative fully suspended undercarriage, which employs four independent torsion axles for a better ride and bucket load retention. Designed for use in rough environments, the CTLs sport a steel-embedded track and steel undercarriage components. Even with the steel hardware, the CTLs maintain operator comfort thanks to the all-rubber track system. All three models, 279C, 289C and 299C, have two-speed drive systems with a maximum speed of 8.5 miles per hour, and operating capacities ranging from 3,200 to 4,150 pounds at 50 percent tipping load. Powering the CTLs is the Cat C3.4T turbocharged diesel engine. Estimated list price: $59,500 to $69,700.
