Two off-highway engines meet Tier 3 requirements: the C32 and C27 (shown). With a displacement of 32 liters, the C32 ACERT has ratings from 860 to 1,300 horsepower at 2,100 rpm. It weighs 5,368 pounds compared to the engine it replaces, the 3508B, which weighs 9,101 pounds. The C27 ACERT has a displacement of 27 liters and five ratings from 730 to 1,100 horsepower at 2,100 rpm. It replaces the 3412. Both are scheduled to go into production in July 2005.
