Caterpillar 992G

The 800-hp (net) Cat 992G wheel loader has been made even tougher with changes to its cast-box boom, rear frame and bucket. An automatic lubrication system has been fitted as standard, and refinement of the loader linkage, says Cat, provides more effective lubrication and longer joint life. LED lamps for brake and taillights resist vibration and promise longer life than filament-type bulbs, and new drive-train filters are easier to service. Plus, a new air-filtration system for the cab complements the operator's environment.
