Now incorporating much of the advanced technology of its D11R and D11R Carry Dozer counterparts, the new 145,000-pound Cat D10R features electro-hydraulic control for the blade and ripper, a more powerful information-management capability and enhanced operator amenities. The D10R's 580-hp (net) engine has a 21-percent torque rise and drives through a Cat torque divider and powershift transmission. Blade capacity ranges from 24.2 to 28.7 cubic yards.
