Caterpillar 904H wheel loaderCat replaced the 904B compact wheel loader with the 904H not only with a new 52-horsepower turbocharged diesel, but new axles. The two-speed hydrostatic loader’s operating weight is 9,900 pounds. A universal coupler compatible with skid-steer-loader work tools and Z-bar loader linkage handle a rated operating load of 2,756 pounds and reach maximum dump height of nearly 9 feet. The standard auxiliary hydraulic system delivers 22 gallons per minute of flow at up to 3,000 psi. The newly designed axles provide more ground clearance and can be equipped with optional locking differentials.
