January 15, 2018

Nashville Business Journal reports Caterpillar Financial Services has purchased the building it has been leasing for its headquarters in Nashville's booming West End neighborhood.

Caterpillar paid a reported $90.9 million for the mid-rise office building on West End Avenue.

The 11-story building was built in 1999 and in March of 2009, the facility became the first privately owned commercial office building in the state of Tennessee to achieve LEED for Existing Buildings certification. In 2014, Caterpillar Financial became the first LEED Gold recertified commercial facility in Tennessee.
