It automatically adjusts blade angle as the operator adjusts to varied pitch of the machine as it grades. The Stable Blade feature remains activated unless cancelled by the operator. Optional new Power Pitch feature allows the operator to adjust blade pitch hydraulically from the operators’ seat, which the company says can boost productivity as much as 6 percent. The engine’s Eco Mode improves fuel economy up to 25 percent, and the engine uses Cat’s Passive Plus Regeneration system. Operators can use Traction Control to reduce track slippage under heavy load, which controls track speed.
