Carothers Awarded Extended Care Facility Contract

Carothers Construction, Inc., Water Valley, MS, was awarded a $35,483,000 contract for the construction of the Extended Care Health Facility by the Department for the Veterans Affairs. The projected construction schedule is 28 months.

The project is a concrete-framed structure on auger cast piling with approximately 105,000 square feet and will be located at the VA Medical Center in Biloxi. The exterior has a brick facade with three cast stone friezes encircling the building and cast stone window sills and lintels.
