Can Big Data Predict Where Amazon's HQ2 Will Land?

AEG Amazon HQ2 Index uses data to predict where the company choose to open

Anderson Economic Group ran the numbers and came up with 35 metro areas that would fit Amazon's wishlist for its second headquarters, nicknamed HQ2.

According to its AEG Amazon HQ2 Index, New York, Chicago, and Las Angeles are the three top contenders. The AEG index takes into consideration the cost of doing business, ease of transportation, and labor & business services. Click here to view their interactive map and review their methodology.

But a small town in Georgia is taking a nontraditional route in order to try and beat the numbers. Stonecrest, Ga., population 35,000, is offering to selflessly rename 345 acres of itself "Amazon" if the company brings HQ2 to town.
