Mascon Restoration thought paying the men $60 a day was good enough. New York City disagreed. The city eventually recovered the money owed them but hunting for many of the ripped off workers ran into one blind alley after another.
Last Thursday, Lopez and friends hopped into a green cab on 116rh Street, and life changed big time.
