Construction Equipment has won the Gold Award for best column by a contributing editor, given by ASBPE. The AZBEE Award of Excellence went to "Equipment Executive," written by Mike Vorster. The awards recognize outstanding work by magazines and is open to all U.S.-based publications.
"Equipment Executive is written specifically for those equipment managers who treat construction equipment as assets," said editorial director Rod Sutton. "The financial side of equipment management has become more important in recent years, and nobody addresses the issue better than Mike. He is recognized by end users, distributors and manufacturers as the foremost authority in asset management."
ASBPE judges evaluated Equipment Executive on the quality of writing, reporting and editing; development of the subject; presentation; and value to readers. Construction Equipment has a long-standing committment to editorial excellence, and the magazine has won more than 100 awards over the past 30 years.
