Six new machines fill out the bottom and top of Bomag’s reversible vibratory plate compactor line — the BPR 25/40 and BPR 25/50, both with operating weights of about 220 pounds; the BPR 35/42 D; BPR 35/60 D and BPR 35/60, all with operating weights of 440 pounds; and the BPR 100/80 with an operating weight of 1,650 pounds. The Bomag Economizer system can reduce compaction time – up to 25 percent fewer passes, according to Bomag – by displaying current density status in real-time while you work.
