Bobcat S750 Skid Steer Loader

Weighing 8,730 pounds, the Bobcat S750 skid steer loader delivers 11 feet of vertical lift—3.5 inches higher than the S300 it replaces--and has a rated operating capacity of 3,200 pounds. It is powered by an 85-horsepower turbo-diesel engine and features an increased 23-gpm standard hydraulic flow. New job-enhancing features were added to the optional deluxe instrumentation panel. Available on Bobcat M-Series machines, the panel monitors key loader functions, and the keyless start helps prevent theft. A new 5-inch, color LCD screen provides better readability. Larger cab features redesigned interior; bigger windows and door improve visibility.

Bobcat S740 Skid Steer

The vertical-lift Bobcat S740 skid steer loader is a new model for Bobcat, replacing the Bobcat S750, and is equipped with a Tier 4-Final engine that, at 74 horsepower, does not require a DPF or SCR technology. With the same operating weight as the 85-horsepower S750, the loader has a rated operating capacity of 3,100 pounds—100 pounds less than the S750—and a tipping load of 6,200 pounds—200 pounds less.

Bobcat meets Tier 4-F requirements with a DOC and an ultra-low particulate combustion (ULPC) engine.

The Bobcat S740 has a cab-forward design that moves the operator closer to the attachment and provides visibility in all directions, the company says. Windows on the sides, rear and top of the cab are large for more visibility to the tires and back of the machine, the company says.

The auxiliary quick couplers are mounted directly to the front plate of the lift arm to provide a solid mounting, and hoses are routed through the loader arms for better protection. A guard bar extends in the front of the coupler for added protection.
