Bobcat has donated use of its equipment to help KaBOOM!, a non-profit organization that helps build playgrounds throughout the United States.

Bobcat relies on its dealer network to donate and deliver the equipment. Gary Hornbacher, Bobcat's North American marketing manager, works directly with KaBOOM! project manager Jennie Connor to find out where upcoming playground builds are scheduled, and then contacts local dealers to get them involved.

Playgrounds can vary in cost from $30,000 to more than $100,000. Connor said Bobcat donations save the organization between $350 and $500 per day.

KaBOOM! has helped construct more playgrounds than any other U.S. service organization—more than 600 since its start in 1995. For more information, log on to www.kaboom.org.
