In light of the discussions about the nation's infrastructure, knowing how each state is handling their water, waste, energy, and transportation is vital to understanding some of the solutions being put forward by legislators.
The American Society of Civil Engineers has released its 2017 Infrastructure Report Card, an assessment of the nation’s infrastructure produced every four years.
Overall, the ASCE gives America a D+, a slight improvement over the 2013 grade. But, while improvement is good, a D+ grade is hardly acceptable.
This year's report card includes a state by state breakdown of what's good and what's not. Chances are, media pundits will soon begin offering their takes on the ASCE data and grades, so get ahead of the game and read what they are reading. Your perspective and support is important.
