Count AGC's chief economist Ken Simonson among those taking notice of recent improved numbers in construction employment, particularly in the noresidential sector. But he's not sure whether good winter weather or actual economic improvement is causing the uptick.

Other economists generally believe the new data is indicative of an improving economy, according to Boston Business Journal.
