Boomer M1L single-boom face drilling rig is for use in low- to medium-height mines, says Atlas Copco. Machine is 5.9 feet high and has heavy-duty axles and a reinforced articulation section. Components and systems from existing Atlas Copco drill rigs were used in the machine. Powered by a Deutz 80kW Tier 3 engine, the drill rig has simple controls and can use either COP 1638 or COP 1838 rock drills.
