DD-8BThe DD-8B features up to 80,000 pounds of thrust/pullback and 13,500 lbs.-ft. of rotary torque. It is powered by a Tier II-certified, 230-hp Cummins engine with hydrostatic hydraulics and infinitely variable rotary speed capabilities. The unit has 20-foot drill pipe and provides high-speed rod changes. Its 2-inch fluid course is said to handle up to 200 gpm for more downhole hydraulic horsepower during reaming and mud motor operation.
