Another Opinion on Harco Worker Manslaughter Conviction

July 21, 2016

Writer Brad Gerstman, frontman for BuildingNYC, a group that advocates against union construction labor, offers a different perspective on the recent case in which Harco Construction was found guilty of manslaughter in the death of Carlos Moncayo.

Although Harco Construction was given notice by safety inspectors the morning of the Moncayo trench collapse accident, warning the company to get workers out of the trench immediately, Gerstman disagrees with the criminal charges against Harco.
