American Augers Quik-Trac

Sept. 28, 2010

The Quik-Trac fast return system for auger boring machines employs a rack-and-pinion drive that allows the machine to move 32 feet in less than 30 seconds. The system also develops 10,000 pounds of thrust and pull force. Quik-Trac allows users to quickly pull away from the casing and add additional sections, check the grade, pull the auger out of the casing, and push product into the casing without the lost time associated with dogging and connecting winch lines. The system is available on all new G2 boring machines.
