AGC Reaccredited as Continuing Education Provider

March 27, 2013

The International Association for Continuing Education and Training (IACET) has reaccredited the Associated General Contractors of America (AGC) as an authorized provider of IACET Continuing Education Units.

AGC provided more than 2,000 members training programs needed to receive continuing education credits in 2012. Since joining with IACET in 2007, AGC has trained more than 25,000 construction professionals. With this renewed partnership, the association will continue to offer programs such as the Advanced Management Program, Project Manager Course, and Compliance Training.

"Education is critical to enabling our members to keep up with ever-changing construction technologies and techniques," said Stephen Sandherr, AGC’s CEO. "This renewed partnership demonstrates our commitment to providing the highest quality education and training programs possible."

The accreditation period extends for five years, and includes select programs offered or created during that time.
