The Associated General Contractors of America (AGC) and other trade organizations were part of a recent panel discussion in Washington, D.C., on drone use, reports AIN Online.

The Federal Aviation Administration has issued nearly 850 exemptions for the commercial use of the unmanned aerial vehicles, and a study of 711 of those showed that 25 percent were for the utilities- and energy-infrastructure sector, 24 percent for real estate and 14 percent for construction.
