The American Council of Engineering Companies of Wisconsin (ACEC WI) has announced the winners of its 38th Annual Engineering Excellence Awards competition.
The Engineering Excellence Awards recognize Wisconsin engineering achievements that demonstrate the highest skill and ingenuity.
A panel of qualified judges based its decisions on each entry's effective use of engineering techniques, originality, future value to the engineering profession, social/economic/sustainable design considerations, complexity, quality of work, and level of customer service.
State Finalist Award — The 13 winners of ACEC WI State Finalist Awards exhibited innovation, quality planning and technical expertise.
Best of State — Six Best of State Awards were given to projects achieving a specific point value. Each of these projects was eligible to compete in the national ACEC awards competition.
From these six projects, a Grand Award will be announced at the ACEC WI Annual Awards Banquet on March 27, 2009, in Kohler, WI.
