$1B Needed for Miami Water, Sewer Infrastructure

An study by Miami-Dade County's water and sewer department says it will take $1 billion and up to five years just to replace the outdated infrastructure.

The study calls for $736 million of immediate sewer line repair and $364 million for water lines.

The U.S. EPA and Department of Justice have ordered the county to perform repairs and upgrades.
