Certified Tier 4-Final L110H and L120H wheel loaders have fully automatic regeneration within the Volvo D8J engine, which is teamed with Volvo powertrain and load-sensing hydraulics. The Reverse-By-Braking (RBB) function automatically reduces the engine rpm and applies the service brakes when the operator changes the direction of the machine. The Torque Parallel (TP) linkage delivers breakout torque and parallel movement throughout the entire lifting range and the optional Boom Suspension System (BSS) reduces bucket spillage, according to the company. A cab filter allows 90 percent of the cab air to be recirculated for continuous dust removal, and controls and information panels are ergonomically positioned. Grouped service points enable quick and simple daily service checks, and the engine hood opens electronically.
