Available in 4Q 2011, L110G and L120G join Volvo Construction Equipment’s G-Series wheel loader line. Improvements over predecessors include 20 percent more lifting force, 5 percent more breakout force, and up to 5 percent better fuel efficiency in load-and-carry and truck-loading applications. Tier 4-I V-ACT D8 diesels produce 260 horsepower for the L110G and 268 for the L120G. Breakout force for the L110G and L120G is 35,452 pounds and 38,869 pounds, respectively. Operating weights range from 39,683 to 45,636 pounds for the L110G and 40,786 to 47,620 pounds for the L120G.
