Volvo EW180D, EW210D Wheeled Excavators

June 14, 2012

Volvo has added two models to its D Series wheeled excavator line: the EW180D and EW210D, weighing 19.9 and 25.1 tons, respectively. Upgrades include 173-horsepower Tier 4-Interim Volvo engines that work in harmony with intelligent, advanced hydraulics and well-matched components, Volvo says. A new ECO mode and an automatic idling and shutdown system aid fuel efficiency. Excavators come with a mono boom and a two-piece boom, a high-torque swing motor, and optional increased counterweights. Volvo CareTrack telematics system is standard.
