The 60-ton-capacity A60H is Volvo Construction Equipment’s largest articulated hauler to date, designed for heavy hauling in severe off-road operations, including quarries, opencast mines and large earth-moving operations.

It features heavy-duty front and rear frames, hitch and wet disc brakes. The A60H is powered by a 16-liter Volvo engine, delivering not only 512 horsepower, but also 365 lb.-ft. of torque. It also has a matched drive train, automatic drive combinations, including 100 percent differential locks, all terrain bogie, hydro mechanical steering and active suspension. In addition, the unit is fitted with an active hydraulic front suspension for higher hauling speeds in tough conditions. With proprietary intelligent systems from the company, such as MATRIS, CareTrack, and the On Board Weighing system, customers can optimize production and minimize operational costs, according to Volvo.
