    VE D12The 465-hp rating of the VE D12 diesel returns, following adjustments to make it conform to the EPA's October 2002 exhaust-emissions regulations. It uses a "tuned" muffler and V-Pulse exhaust-gas recirculation to move gases into combustion chambers to reduce NOx formation. It produces 1,650 lb.-ft. of torque and is available in VN and VHD trucks and tractors.
