Model S450TX completes the Vermeer family of mini skid steer loaders. It has a 500-pound SAE-rated operating capacity with a 1,430-pound tipping capacity. Other features include a four-pump hydraulic system and a single pilot-operated joystick. Powered by a 24.8-horsepower Kubota diesel, with a 27-horsepower Kohler gasoline engine available later in 2012. Standard track measures 9 inches wide, with a 7-inch narrow version avialable. Operator-presence system suspends ground drive and attachment motion if the operator steps off the machine.
