Vermeer, Ditch Witch Settle HammerHead Dispute

Earth Tool Co. announced that a settlement has been reached between itself, the Charles Machine Works, and Vermeer regarding litigation related to the purchase of Earth Tool.

Earth Tool Co. (ETC) has announced that a settlement has been reached between itself, the Charles Machine Works, Inc. (CMW) and Vermeer Corp. regarding litigation related to the purchase of ETC by CMW.

The Charles Machine Works Inc., manufacturer of Ditch Witch underground construction equipment, announced in the spring that it has acquired 100 percent ownership of HammerHead Trenchless Equipment, manufactured by Earth Tool Co. LLC (ETC), which had a close relationship with Vermeer. The acquisition makes ETC a wholly owned subsidiary of CMW.
